Bridge St. Brass are a brass quintet formed in 2023 by students at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. They aim to champion female players and composers within the brass world, and since their formation have enjoyed performing a diverse array of repertoire, from classical brass quintet works by Arutunian and Lafosse, to arrangements of film music and forays into jazz.

The group were proud to be finalists in the 2025 Bernard Brown Brass Ensemble Prize at RBC, and are becoming increasingly busy with engagements both across the West Midlands and further afield. Recent highlights have included concerts at Leeds Conservatoire, Paradise Birmingham and Birmingham Children’s Hospital - the latter as part of their wide range of outreach and education engagements. They are also excited to have been invited to perform at the Philip Jones Brass Extravaganza in February 2026.
