Samantha Atkinson and Ben Baldwin met in 2023 at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. Since then, they have worked together in various ensembles, perfecting their blend and sound as pair. As a duo they offer an eclectic mix of contemporary, classical, and jazz music, showcasing their versatility and passion for the saxophone. Their performances are a testament to their technical prowess, expressive depth, and innovative approach to diverse genres. 

 

Together they specialise in bringing classical saxophone to new audiences, delivering recitals and interact concerts to a whole range of listeners.

Their recital will feature works by old and new composers. From Singelée’s famous saxophone duo, to new works by Adam Silverman and Barry Cockcroft.
